1 / How do I check whether I am eligible to attend the course?

2 / If I am not eligible for this course are there other courses I can attend
Yes. We will be advertising future courses for psychiatrists who do not meet the eligibility criteria for the five day course. Please join our mailing list if you would like to be notified when these courses are advertised.
3 / If I am eligible for the course but there are no places available, will I be placed on the waiting list for cancellations and future courses.
Yes. If the course is fully booked, eligible applicants will be offered a place on the waiting list and will be contacted if a place becomes available or when registration opens for the next course.
4 / How can I make my payment for the course
Payment should be made through the website by clicking the payment button on the course registration page. Please do not make a payment until your eligibility has been confirmed.
5/ If I have study leave funding can my NHS trust pay for the course directly
Yes, your NHS trust can pay for the course. However, pleased note that your place will not be confirmed until the payment has been received. Unfortunately, we are unable to hold places open awhile awaiting payment by your NHS trust due to limited capacity.
6 / Will any days of the course be in person
No. All 5 days will be on zoom. This allows us to minimise costs and to maintain accessibility.
7 / Will there be handouts for the sessions?
Yes. Participants will received a PDF handout of all presentation slides after the course. We kindly ask that these materials are not shared with anyone who has not attended, to respect presenters’ intellectual property.
8/ Will sessions be recorded?
No. None of the sessions will be recorded. This is intentional and reflects our commitment to protecting the intellectual property of our expert speakers. It also maintains confidentiality, as clinical cases and sensitive professional discussions form a core part of the learning creating a safe, open space for reflection and discussion
9 / Will I get a CPD Certificate?
Yes. Your CPD certificate will be sent after the course has attended, provided you have attended all 5 days.
10 / What happens if I am unable to attend all or part of the course?
We understand that unexpected illness, and other unforeseen circumstances, can occur. If this happens, please contact us as soon as possible. While we are unable to guarantee refunds or deferred places due to the fixed costs of running the programme, we will always aim to respond fairly and sensitively on a case-by-case basis.
